The Australian Wine Research Institute is a research, development and extension body for Australia's grape and wine industry, founded in 1955 and governed by an industry-led board. It provides applied research, a technical helpdesk, workshops, seminars, technical publications and education courses for grapegrowers and winemakers. It also runs Affinity Labs, which offers advanced analytical and consulting services, and is based in Adelaide.
