Terms of use

These terms govern your use of distillershub.com and its subdomains, including app.distillershub.com (the "Service"), operated from India by the Distillers Hub team. By using the Service you agree to them. If you use it for a company, you confirm you are authorised to bind that company.

The Service is a business-to-business network for the alcoholic beverages trade. You must be of legal drinking age where you live and use the Service only for lawful business purposes. Alcohol may be bought, sold, imported or exported only by persons holding the licences required by the applicable laws; you are responsible for having them.

For content that members post or send (marketplace and ENA posts, messages, company pages and mailboxes) we act as an intermediary within the meaning of Section 2(1)(w) of the Information Technology Act, 2000. We are not a party to any transaction between members, do not sell or handle alcohol or goods, and do not guarantee the quality, legality, delivery or payment of anything offered. Do your own checks before you trade.

The directory, regulations guides, export guides, prices, events and news summaries are compiled and published by us as general information, with their sources, on an "as is" basis. Tell us of any error at [email protected] and we will correct it promptly.

When we send a requirement to matching companies, we do so only at the request of the member who posted it.

Listings are compiled from public sources and may be incomplete or out of date. Companies may claim, correct or remove their listing free of charge. Regulations pages and news summaries are general information, not legal advice; confirm with the authorities or your advisers before acting.

Host, display, upload, publish, share or send any information that: (i) belongs to another person and to which you do not have any right; (ii) is obscene, pornographic, paedophilic, invasive of another's privacy including bodily privacy, insulting or harassing on the basis of gender, racially or ethnically objectionable, relating or encouraging money laundering or gambling, or an online game that causes user harm, or promoting enmity between different groups on the grounds of religion or caste with the intent to incite violence; (iii) is harmful to children; (iv) infringes any patent, trademark, copyright or other proprietary rights; (v) deceives or misleads the addressee about the origin of the message or knowingly and intentionally communicates any misinformation or information which is patently false and untrue or misleading in nature; (vi) impersonates another person; (vii) threatens the unity, integrity, defence, security or sovereignty of India, friendly relations with foreign States, or public order, or causes incitement to the commission of any cognisable offence, or prevents investigation of any offence, or is insulting other nation; (viii) contains software virus or any other computer code, file or program designed to interrupt, destroy or limit the functionality of any computer resource; (ix) is in the nature of an online game that is not verified as a permissible online game; (x) is in the nature of advertisement or surrogate advertisement or promotion of an online game that is not a permissible online game, or of any online gaming intermediary offering such an online game; or (xi) violates any law for the time being in force. (These are the categories in Rule 3(1)(b) of the Information Technology (Intermediary Guidelines and Digital Media Ethics Code) Rules, 2021, as amended.)

Post or send anything that is unlawful, false or misleading, infringes anyone's rights, is obscene, defamatory or harassing, impersonates another person or company, contains malware, or is spam or a scam (including advance-fee requests).

Offer goods or services you are not licensed to deal in, or use the Service to evade excise, customs or tax.

Copy, scrape, crawl, download in bulk or republish the directory, regulations, prices, events or marketplace content, in whole or in substantial part, by any automated or manual means, or use it to build or train a competing database, directory or AI model. Ordinary search-engine indexing is permitted.

Collect members' data, or attempt to access accounts or systems that are not yours.

Deal through the Service with any person or entity on a United Nations, European Union, United Kingdom or United States sanctions list, or with North Korea, Iran, Syria or any other embargoed destination, or otherwise breach sanctions or export controls. We screen listings against the official sanctions lists every week and remove matches.

These rules are our rules and regulations, privacy policy and user agreement for the purposes of Rule 3(1) of the Information Technology (Intermediary Guidelines and Digital Media Ethics Code) Rules, 2021.

The directory, regulations guide, price and event data and their selection, arrangement and presentation are a compilation created by us with considerable skill and effort and are protected by copyright and, where applicable, database rights. You may view, search and share individual entries and link to any page. Any other use needs our written permission (write to [email protected]).

We will enforce our rights against anyone who copies it.

Records that come from OpenStreetMap remain available under the Open Database Licence (ODbL) and our rights do not extend to them. Contains information from OpenStreetMap, © OpenStreetMap contributors (openstreetmap.org/copyright).

You keep ownership of what you post and give us a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, display and transmit it to run the Service. We may screen, refuse, remove or disable content, and suspend or close accounts, that breach these terms or the law, and we act on lawful orders and valid complaints within the times the law requires.

Addresses at distillershub.com are provided to verified companies for business correspondence. They may be suspended for spam or abuse, and end when the company's membership ends.

Basic listing, claiming, messaging and posting are free. If we introduce paid features, we will state the price and terms before you buy.

The Service is provided "as is". To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for loss arising from dealings between members, and our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim (or INR 10,000 if you paid nothing). Nothing limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any dispute arising out of or in connection with them shall be finally resolved by arbitration by a sole arbitrator under the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996. The seat and venue of arbitration shall be Mumbai, the language English. Subject to this, the courts at Mumbai have exclusive jurisdiction, including for interim relief.
