Blinda Indústria e Comércio

Blinda Indústria e Comércio is a Brazilian manufacturer of explosion-protected electrical equipment for hazardous atmospheres, offering certified Ex devices such as control pushbuttons, junction boxes, distribution panels and cable glands. It is a business unit of Polar Components Group, which acquired the Blinda brand and production assets from Eaton in 2021. Production is described as taking place in Macaé-RJ, with a Votorantim plant planned to be fully operational in 2022.
