Faer Isles Distillery is a whisky and spirits producer on the Faroe Islands that also makes vodka, gin and akvavit using local botanicals and seaweed. Its whisky is matured in traditional wooden food-curing storehouses exposed to the salty, windy North Atlantic climate. The company is funded in part through share offerings to members and the public.
