Kitaya is a sake and shochu brewery in Yame, Fukuoka Prefecture, Japan, founded under the name Kitaya in 1820 and later reorganized as a company. It produces sake, honkaku shochu, liqueurs, a craft gin made with a sake-derived spirit, and fermented seasonings, and exports to several countries. The brewery draws its water from underground flow of the Yabe River.
