TAKAZO Distillery (Meiri Shurui Co., Ltd.)

Meiri Shurui Co., Ltd. is a Japanese alcoholic beverage manufacturer based in Mito, Ibaraki Prefecture, which traces its origins to a brewery founded in the Ansei era and was formally established as a company in 1950. It produces sake, shochu, plum liqueurs, spirits such as vodka and gin, fermented seasonings, quasi-drugs and brewing alcohol, and sells across Japan with some export. The company also operates a plum liqueur museum and brewery tour facilities.
