Toyonaga Shuzo Co., Ltd.

Toyonaga Shuzo is a shochu distillery in Kuma district, Kumamoto Prefecture, Japan, set among mountains beside the Kuma River. It makes rice, barley and brown-rice shochu, along with liqueurs such as plum wine and cardamom- or cinnamon-flavoured spirits, and some aged and limited bottlings. The site notes the company has grown rice and produced organic shochu since the 1980s and that its products are sold through a network of specialist retailers.
