Makino Gin is a craft gin made by Tsukasabotan Shuzo at its Makino Distillery in Sakawa Town, Kochi Prefecture, Japan. It is produced by steeping about twelve botanicals, including Kochi-grown guava leaves, Sasaella ramosa bamboo grass, juniper berries and ginger, in the company's shochu before distillation. The range includes a basic gin, a premium yuzu-type citrus version and a 2025 Japanese pear edition.
