Wakatakeya Shuzojo is a sake brewery in Tanushimaru, Fukuoka Prefecture, Japan, founded in 1699 according to its about page. It brews sake using well water from its original well and rice, including Yamada Nishiki, grown with local farmers at the foot of the Mimuna mountains. Its sake is sold on site at the historic Genroku storehouse and through its online shop and seasonal subscription boxes.
