Matte Brennerei

Matte Brennerei is a small craft distillery in the old town of Bern, Switzerland, that distils spirits by hand in a 1000-litre copper still. It makes gin and absinthe, uses local botanicals such as woodruff and blackthorn berries gathered from the Aare river area and nearby forests, and offers on-site tastings and distilling workshops.
