Applesrus is an orchard that grows several apple varieties, including Honeycrisp, SweeTango, Zestar, Pazazz and First Kiss, and sells them through a retail store and for local pickup. The company also operates a distillery that makes apple-based spirits, which are classed as rum-family products because molasses is added to raise sugar content, along with dairy-free cream-based spirits. Its page content indicates it began planting in 2011, and it is listed as a distillery.
