Axe Handle Distilling is a family-run distillery in Southwest Virginia that makes whiskey, gin and vodka. Its products include a high-rye bourbon, a Virginia rye whiskey, a gin and a vodka, and it has a tasting room. The company's roots are in hand-hewn log home building, and the text ties its distilling to that tradition.
