Pálenica Veľké Uherce is a distillery in Slovakia that makes fruit spirits from mashes (kvas) prepared by growers from their own fruit. The company offers customers pressing and pitting of fruit, storage of mashes under its supervision, free transport for larger loads, and free mash quality checks with a refractometer. It uses a traditional two-pot still process with wood-fired heating.
